Nowadays,the Internet has become an indispensable part of people's life.It has brought us great convenience in our daily life.At the same time,it has brought an opportunity for education.Micro-lecture is a technological innovation in educational field.Ithas the features of short,having a clear themeand flexible learning time which offers the condition for students'independent study.At the same time,it accord with the requirements of curriculum standards.We can have a deep understanding of the micro-lecture after studying it's instructional design.Itcan be applied to English teaching properly.Thisstudyaimedtooptimizepresentmicro-lecture courses'instruction design.The theoretical basis of this study are micro learning theory,autonomic learning theory and cognitive overload theory.The prize-winningworks in the 3~rdd Chinese Micro-lecture Competition was chosen and classified firstly.We mainly research on the the prize-winning works in junior middle school from the aspects of teaching objects,teaching contents,teaching activitiesandtheteachingevaluation according to the requirements of curriculum standardsabout the instructionaldesign.Thequantitativeresearchmethodsand qualitativeresearch methodswere used in the research.This paper attempts to find the current situation and characteristics of the micro-lecture in junior middle school.Furthermore,the author also attempts to analyze how the micro-lecture in junior middle school cultivate students'independent learning ability.From this study,we can find there are many advantages in the micro-lecture of junior middle school.For example,all of the works have a clear teaching objective,some of the works have a comprehensive teaching objective.The teaching content is clear,the instructional resources in all of the works can be integrated appropriately.Most of the works have the teaching links of lead-in,knowledge consolidation and self-evaluation in teaching activities.All works can take the students as the evaluation subject,some works set graded exercises is worth learning.Meanwhile,there are many problems of the prize-wining works at the aspect of instructional design.For example,most of the works lacks of a comprehensiveteaching objective,the knowledge teaching was attached too much importance,but the attitude and awareness of culture in languagelearning was ignored,the form ofthe teaching evaluation is too single.According to the requirements of the curriculum standards,the writer offers some advice for these problems at the end of the paper.It includes attaching importance to the cultivation of the attitude and the awareness of culture in languagelearning,setting up language scenarios,completing the teaching objectives,strengthening the guidance of learning tactics,improving teachers'professional quality and the quality of micro-lecture.It will be conducive to improving the quality and effects of English teaching with micro-lecture.The writer wants to do something for micro-lecture construction and English teaching.
