This paper attempts to think about contemporary animal ethics through the study of British and American science fiction.Through the narrative analysis of six science fiction texts, namely "Dr.Morrow's Island","Winding Girl","Flowers for Algernon ","The Lifecycle of Software Objects","Solaris ","Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep",this paper complete three steps in turn, including the description of the phenomena of animal ethics,Critical deconstruction and summary of enlightenment.Phenomenological description is mainly to analyze how modern scientific knowledge and technological development affect and determine the ethical situation of animals. It includes how to shape the ethical status of animals with the help of Foucault's "knowledge type" concept, how to analyze the ethical situation of genetic animals with Giorgio Agamben's "bare life" concept, and how to explore the ethical status of virtual animals with Helles' s "post-human outlook on life" concept.Critical deconstruction mainly analyses how science fiction uses narrative power to criticize and manipulate the life politics of animal ethics, including the criticism of animal dystopia under the control of scientists' sovereignty, the deconstruction of scientific objectivity, and the criticism of empire, the supranational macrostructure that controls the operation of animal ethics. The main enlightenment is to analyze the enlightening perspective of science fiction on animal ethics, including how the ethical thinking of "becoming-animal" makes animals escape from the control of biopolitics, how the concept of "absolute other" surpasses rational animal ethics, and how "non-material labor" can be regarded as the hope of solving realistic animal ethics problems.
