Beijing Opera is the most representative form of Chinese opera,and it is also known as the quintessence of Chinese culture.Beijing Opera "headwear" culture is unique in Beijing opera culture and contains rich cultural details.It plays a very important role in the performance of Beijing Opera.It is the most intuitive form of expression for the audience to watch Beijing Opera and understand the culture of Beijing Opera.Therefore,under the background of globalization,in order to let more international friends understand the culture of Beijing Opera and promote the spread of the culture of Beijing Opera abroad,it is very important to explore the translation of the culture of Beijing Opera "headwear".However,it is difficult to translate the differences between two cultures from the aspect of language to meet the requirements of both the source language and the target language.In translation,translators need to coordinate not only the source culture and the target culture,but also different translation methods.This paper takes the translation of the "headwear" of Beijing Opera in Jing Ju Costume Terms in Chinese and English.From the perspective of coordination theory,this paper analyses the translation methods adopted by translators in translation practice,summarizes the problems,and explores how to coordinate cultural differences in the translation of "headwear" culture and achieve the goal of coordination translation,thus improving understanding,respect and reference between different cultures,and promoting the spread and development of Beijing Opera culture.
