A Study On Symbolic Re-Design Of Chinese Traditional Festivals

Traditional Chinese festivals are an important carrier of traditional culture and an important link between traditional culture and modern life.With the rapid development of China’s economic globalization and the impact of foreign culture on traditional culture,traditional culture faces the problems such as the fading of Chinese festivals,the increasing conflicts between traditional culture and modern life,and the lack of traditional festivals.huge challenge.Based on the above background,this article from the perspective of semiotic symbolic re-design of traditional Chinese festivals to study the traditional Chinese festivals for the realization of the inheritance and development of new ideas.On the basis of combing Chinese traditional festivals and semiotics related documents,this paper studies the relationship between traditional festivals and semiotics,analyzes the characteristics of Chinese traditional festivals from the perspective of semiotics and the key factors that affect the re-design of Chinese traditional festivals.The traditional holiday symbol re-design of the innovation base.Then,after the traditional festival elements are sorted out,the traditional festival elements are reconstructed according to the needs of the modern society,and the elements needed for the re-design of the traditional holiday symbols are further selected.And then through the way of clarifying symbolic meaning and expressing symbolic meaning,the paper designs the traditional re-design of holiday symbol,and makes clear design principles and design elements.Finally,through the case of the "Yegu" brand,the symbolic re-design of the Spring Festival and the Dragon Boat Festival was carried out and applied to the design scheme.The above methods and principles were validated and summarized,and the traditional festival symbolization was further carried out from the practical operation level.Design to provide reference for the promotion of traditional culture heritage and development.
