The Application Of Material Language In Modern Book Design

Due to the rapid development of information technology and human nature and self-awareness for the more in-depth,so we constantly update and change the view of visual communication design.Began to appear a lot of personalized and diversified forms of artistic expression due to the continuous improvement of aesthetic requirements,so that visual communication works no longer limited to the form of a single plane and static design.Designers focus on people-oriented and human needs of the design and humanized thought has become the theme of modern design.The progress of science and technology makes the material become the new expression main body in the design,it has a unique texture and function,ones will feel the visual and tactile sensory experience,as well as different associations,psychological feelings and aesthetic taste because of the different materials.Book is the material carrier of information,but also an important symbol of human civilization and progress.materials and books are closely related in the historical record and materials play a crucial role in the development of book design,at the same time,the application of material language in modern book design has gradually become a new direction for designers to study.The development of book design status and trends and book form of the evolution of the process of doing research and analysis in this paper,depth study of the relationship between materials and book design and materials in modern book design to play the function and role,through the study of the material language and the concrete analysis of the texture and characteristics of the book material,the combination of material,craft and design is practically studied,which provides a new idea for the development and innovation of book design.
