Poetry is the treasure of human civilization and Chinese poetry have an important place in the world.The history of Chinese poetry is as long as that of Chinese civilization.Chinese poetry originated in ancient times and and became prosperous because of the Book of Songs to Qing Dynasty.Over the past five thousand years,the creation of Chinese poetry culture has never ceased,and the spirit of Chinese poetry has never been separated from Chinese humanistic spirit.Poetry has a profound influence on Chinese culture,from the emperor to the common people,from the capital to the frontier cities.The most important feature of Chinese poetry is that poetry and music can not be separated.Chinese poetry has melodies.People can sing it,dance with it and it can be ensembled.In fact,in the long process of cultural change,poetry and music are separated and merged constantly.Until the 1920 s,some Chinese literati and musicians re-composed some ancient poems and art songs of ancient poetry with modern significance were produced,which were very popular.Among them,Du Mu's " Autumn Song and Three Quatrains",composed by Luo Zhongrong,a poet in the middle and late Tang Dynasty,has a high degree of popularity.In this paper,the author will take the vocal music divertimento of ancient poetry " Autumn Song and Three Quatrains" as the research object,focusing on the artistic characteristics of poetry content and the analysis of singing,through literature review,experience summary and other methods for analysis and research.In the process of research,the author draws relevant conclusions and improved his/her own cultural and artistic qualities and professional singing ability by referring to a large number of papers and other documents at home and abroad,and combining the study and singing practice at the postgraduate stage.
