Study On Modest Words In The Official Documents Of Wenyuan Yinghua

"Wenyuan Yinghua" is a collection of official literature compiled by Li Wei and Xu Wei in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty."Wenyuan Yinghua" contains nearly 20,000 articles from 38 styles of Liang to Tang and Five Dynasties,and is a valuable corpus for modern Chinese studies.But what is really valued by the academic circles is the poetry and poetry with strong oral nature.The value of rich official documents has not received due attention.This paper takes the modest words in official documents,which have a long history,rich cultural connotation,precise style of writing and standard wording,as the research object.Summarizing the high-frequency vocabulary,classifying and comparing the usage of the common modest words,studying and analyzing the formation of the single-tone and double-tone modest words,and exploring the derivation and development Mechanism of the double-tone modest words.The details are as follows:This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly describes the origin of the topic,relevant research status,research objects,research content,methods and significance.Chapter two,chapter three and chapter four are the investigation of the modest words in the official documents of "Wenyuan Yinghua".According to the meaning of words,modest words are divided into three categories: expressive behavior,aptitude,and birth status.And high-frequency morphemes are summarized.Centered on the aggregation of homophones,we describe the lexical features from four aspects,namely,meaning,part of speech,and grammatical function.The third chapter mainly discusses the words of the same element group in the expression of behavior patterns,such as “?”“?” “?”“?”“?”“?” “?”“?”.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the words of the same element group that express the aptitude,such as“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the same element words which also express their psychological states,such as“?/?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”“?”.We analyze and compare the usage of the single-tone and double-tone modest words,show the general picture of the official modest words,and provide the basis for the addition and compilation of dictionaries.The fifth chapter is the study of the derivation and word formation of double-tone modest words..In this chapter,the double-tone modest words expressing behavior,qualification,status and psychological state discussed above are taken as the research object.By using lexicalization and semantic field theory,we analyze the derivation and word formation of double-tone modest words,and describe their dynamic formation and static plane.We explore the structural relationships,semantic relations and combination formats of morphemes,and summarize the rules of word formation with rich internal structure,extensive morpheme combination and diverse semantic relations.Furthermore,the trajectory and development of words are presented from the diachronic and synchronic levels.
