Study On Lenin's Thought Of Cultural Leadership

Lenin put forward a series of measures to master and consolidate the cultural leadership in the process of leading Russia to carry out the revolution and the construction of socialist country,aiming at the important position and role of cultural development in the whole social construction.Some contemporary western developed capitalist countries rely on advanced science and technology and management experience to infiltrate our culture,threatening our cultural security.Therefore,under the current background of diversified development of cultural values,it is of great practical significance to deeply explore Lenin's thought of cultural leadership for promoting the great development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and consolidating cultural leadership.Based on relevant works of Lenin,this paper attempts to further study Lenin's thought of cultural leadership on the basis of existing research results in the academic circle at home and abroad,mainly including four parts:The first part expounds the theoretical origin and realistic basis of Lenin's thought of cultural leadership.First of all,Marx,Engels and other outstanding thinkers on the theory of culture is the theoretical source of Lenin's thought of cultural leadership.Secondly,the pluralistic cultural tradition of Russia and Lenin himself's active participation in the Russian revolutionary struggle and socialist construction are the realistic basis for the formation of his thought.The second part elaborates the development course of Lenin's thought of cultural leadership.Before the October revolution,Lenin profoundly analyzed and criticized the trends of thought such as populism,defended and developed the marxist theory,and laid a foundation for the thought of cultural leadership.At the beginning of the establishment of the proletarian regime,Lenin and other state leaders put forward measures to eliminate illiteracy and consolidate the cultural leadership of the proletariat.It was not until the implementation of the new economic policy that Lenin found the negative restriction of backward culture on economic and social development became more and more obvious.Therefore,he stressed the need to improve the people's cultural level and ideological consciousness,especially the ruling party's own cultural quality and leadership.The third part expounds the main contents of Lenin's thought of cultural leadership.On the basis of marxist theory and in combination with the specific history and social reality of Russia,Lenin creatively put forward such rich ideas as adhering to the dominant position of marxist theory,comprehensively improving the cultural quality and ability of the ruling party in leading and managing state affairs,and vigorously developing scientific and cultural undertakings.In particular,in response to the problem of the low quality of the ruling party's cultural leadership,which was known as the "fear of competence",Lenin demanded that the whole party strive to improve its cultural level and master the ability to manage state affairs as soon as possible.The fourth part elaborates the modern enlightenment of Lenin's thought of cultural leadership to China's socialist cultural construction.Lenin cultural leadership thought reveals the ruling party should always firmly grasp the socialism cultural leadership,improve the level of the ruling party's own culture and management ability,must be the recognition of the public administration value pursuit,emphasize the cultural creativity of the subject of intellectuals and other valuable ideas for today's construction of cultural leadership of the communist party of China has important practical significance.
