To open the curtain of a new era,we must always debate how the existing reality itself is.Japan, which has launched several wars, needs to establish a new national identity after World War II,but it faces an embarrassing situation that is Japanese nationalist construction has lost its purity. However, from the opposite side, this statement is another expression of the post-war continuity of the Japanese nation-state.The core of it is the ideology of the Mikado and his representatives——the continuation of the Tennoism. This paper attempts to discuss the process of the Mikado's transition from Absolutism to Symbolism, and analyzes the means by which these transitions take place, and its influences, and the significances of the history of thoughts. This article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter of the preface is mainly a background introduction. The second chapter to the fourth chapter respectively follow the general chronological order, discussing the Japanese ruling class,in especial Mikado itself, and their cooperations with GHQ,jointly defining and subtly exerting the role of spiritual authority, integrating the people's hearts. It also affected the social trend of the Post-war Japan. The fifth chapter is a summary. The author believes that after the defeat of Japan, the Mikado system did lose its absolute political influences and its military power before the war,but its sacredness and status as a spiritual authority have not disappeared for thousands of years. It is still a symbol of the unification of the people and their spirits. It is a continuation of the world and continues to play an important role in the postwar period.
