Chinese traditional culture is extensive and profound,of which "leisure culture" has grad ually become the mainstream and trend of the times.As a special group of human society,the "elderly culture" plays an important part in the daily life of the group.It can be said that it pla ys a crucial role in the physical and mental health of the elderly.The mahjong culture originat ed in China and has a long history of development.It is an integral part of traditional Chinese culture.It is also a kind of leisure and entertainment that Chinese people especially like.The h umanized and improved design of the old mahjong layout pattern is conducive to improving t he leisure cultural life of the elderly and promoting the coordinated and orderly development of human society.The author applies the concept of art design to practical results in combination with psyc hology,value science,design,aesthetics,etc.First,in the first chapter,the author starts with t he analysis of the origin of mahjong culture,and summarizes research methods using literatur e review.The six-nation statement on the origin of mahjong culture made a preliminary under standing of the status of mahjong culture.At the same time,carefully scrutinize the pattern ele ments inside the mahjong,so as to extend the pattern elements into the broad and profound C hinese traditional culture,and to experience the different meanings represented by different pa ttern elements;in the last two sections of this chapter,the mahjong culture The state of develo pment and the two-sided influence that emerged have been briefly explained,from which a su mmary of Mahjong culture has been drawn.Second,through the analysis of a series of charac teristics of the age group,physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics,and cog nitive characteristics of the elderly in the third chapter,the influencing factors of this study on the improvement of the elderly mahjong design are obtained;Interviews,the author's hometo wn(Hunan Tuanjie Autonomous Prefecture,Yongshun County,Wanping Town,Tuanjie Vill age),sample survey of the elderly,the use of statistical analysis of statistical methods of analy sis of its analysis,access to the positioning of the elderly Mahjong layout pattern design needs.Finally,it elaborates on the specific ideas of the design,the process of the project,and the inn ovations.It uses its own design results as a strong and feasible theoretical basis for argumenta tion;at the end of the article,based on his own creative practice,he makes personal recomme ndations for the Chinese traditional culture in the future.Outlook.
