Zhao Mengfu Xing Calligraphy Style Of Study

ZHAO Mengfu is a well known calligrapher in the yuan dynasty.He was good at calligraphy,especially in Xing,and was called "the crown of the yuan dynasty" by later generations.ZHAO Mengfu,who is a scholar of the ancient and modern times,has held up the "ancient ways" in the study of calligraphy.He studied the jin and wei dynasty and formed a style of writing with his own characteristics.His idea of learning calligraphy not only set off a rush to restore the brushwork of the tang dynasty,but also had a profound influence on later generations.This paper is mainly on the study of the style of ZHAO Mengfu’s xing calligraphy.Based on the background of ZHAO Mengfu’s family background,the history of his political experience in the yuan dynasty,and the theory of calligraphy learning,the style and origin of the book are also carried out.Combining with ZHAO Mengfu’s famous works,the paper analyzes the technique of his xin calligraphy from three aspects :pen,body and tricks,so as to be able to grasp the technique and style characteristics of his xin calligraphy.Through the analysis and grasp of the techniques and style of ZHAO Mengfu’s xin calligraphy,The author applies it to his own creation.The author analyzes the reference of ZHAO Mengfu’s xin calligraphy style and techniques in his theory of calligraphy learning.And looks forward to the future of his calligraphy learning.
