The Appearance Of "Entropy" In Multiple Painting

This paper focuses on the author's graduation creation.To express the author's thinking and summary of art theory and painting practice during the three years of studying for a master's degree.My creation takes "artificial landscape" as the object of expression and "multiple painting" as the way of expression,which reflects author's thinking on the dialectical relationship between order and disorder of things.As we all know,Aristotle proposed that "imitation theory" had a great influence on art history and became the blueprint of realism reflection theory.His view that the essence of art is to imitate or show things in the real world affirms the reality of the real world and thus affirms the authenticity of the art of "imitating" reality.Based on this concept,traditional realistic oil painting requires artists to focus on the objective observation method,collect materials through sketching,photography and other methods,take objective entities as the reference object,and express paintings by means of reappearance.The characteristics of art works produced under the guidance of this thinking can be summarized as follows: Rationalization of thinking mode,mechanization of expression technique and ordering of picture effect.Now that order and rationality have been widely accepted in artistic works,people are often willing to make preconceived judgments on things through their appearances.Many artists are still addicted to the accurate imitation of objects.The author cannot help asking: should the search for the essence of things stop at the exact representation of appearances? Heraclitus said,"we step into the same river,but we do not step into the same river.We exist and do not exist." this sentence clearly reveals that things have the fundamental characteristics of universal contradiction and unity of opposites."Order" and "disorder" are the dialectical relations of unity of opposites existing in all things,and become the fundamental attribute.It can also be inferred that there must be another side of disorder behind the appearance of things as ordered forms.Similarly,in the expression of the work must be able to go beyond the orderly induction,seek disorderly performance.In order to reveal this reality,we need to understand what entropy is.
