The Director's Creation And Study Of The Micro Film Life-altering Parcel

With the rapid development of social economy,people's living standard has been improved significantly.As a result,the gap between rich and poor is also widening,the value of "money first" is spreading rapidly among the public and has caused a series of social problems,"rich second generation" problem and children's education problem have become a social focus.The film “Life-altering Parcel” is the author's graduation work,which lasts for 50 minutes.It mainly tells the story of the rich second generation Shi Tou,who came back from overseas and suddenly suffered from family accident.He had no choice but to be a courier.During this experience,he got help from the company manager Xiao Xu,and felt the changes in human relations and finally got growth and happiness.It shows the emotional collision between two generations and the positive attitude towards life when we face the difficulties.This paper is divided into five chapters to systematically and comprehensively elaborate the creation process of the micro film "Life-altering Parcel".The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explain the background and method of creation,and director's interpretation.The second chapter elaborates on the pre-production of the film,including script creation,literary script,casting,location of shooting,shooting script,etc.The third chapter describes the middle shooting process of the film,including preparation,shooting process,shooting problems and solutions.The fourth chapter explains the post-production process of the film in detail,including material selection,editing,color mixing,sound effect,etc.The last chapter summarizes the creation feelings and experiences during the shooting process of “Life-altering Parcel”.In the creative practice of “Life-altering Parcel”,I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the production process of micro films,found my own defects,and deeply understood the rigor and artistry required in the process of film creation,which will benefit my future study and life.
