BaoYuankai is a famous contemporary Chinese composer and music educator.It has always adhered to the principles of "writing,writing,writing for people","Chinese style",and "foreign use".Its genres are diverse and extensive.Such as songs,oratoriums,chamber music,symphonies,film and television music,children’s music,etc.,the creation of many genres of works is deeply influenced by Chinese traditional music and folk music,without losing the aesthetic under the modern trend;Based on the traditional music culture,combined with Western modern composing techniques,it has injected fresh blood into the Chinese National music creation.As an important part of the history and culture of China for 5,000 years,the history and culture of Beijing Opera,with its rich historical significance and spiritual characteristics,have provided rich connotations for the progress of the Chinese nation and the prosperity of its history and culture.Beijing opera music culture also has a profound influence on the development of Chinese National music and is an indispensable part of China’s historical music culture.Before BaoYuankai started to create the "Peking Opera Symphony," he carried out a long period of profound ideas and data collection.He cleverly made the four major dramas of Beijing Opera: net,ugly,living,and Dan.As well as the four main musical Beijing opera elements of Kunqu Opera,Qupai,and Peking Opera,combined with the four symphonies of the symphony,they are tragic,witty,affectionate,and brilliant,but they are not consistent with the structure of traditional symphonies.In combination with the "Chinese style" rational concept to make appropriate adjustments,rich use of Western composing theory and technical techniques for music creation and emotional expression.I studied the "Peking Opera Symphony" based on traditional composing techniques and combined with modern music analysis methods.In terms of macroscopic structure,tonal tone,harmonic characteristics,orchestration layout,texture characteristics,pitch organization,rhythm form,etc.,the complexity of the analysis is more reasonable,prompting me to understand the deeper level of music in the work.The main content of this article consists of five chapters: The first chapter is a brief exposition of BaoYuankai’s own artistic achievements and the creation history of the "Peking Opera Symphony";The second chapter is to study the macro structure and cultural background of the works;The third chapter is the analysis of the tonality and harmony characteristics of the works;The fourth chapter analyzes the acoustic configuration and texture of the works.The fifth chapter expounds the pitch organization and rhythm form embodied in the works.
