The Usage Analysis Of Fillers By Japanese

Japanese natural conversation has more irregular expressions than written language.The various linguistic forms which are different in form from the written expression are the embodiment of the Japanese spoken features.For example,in Japanese,the fillers are language forms that have almost no actual meaning and frequently appears in the conversation.At present,in Japanese education in China,there are a lot of textbooks and reference books with grammar as the center,while on the other hand,education about Japanese filler is quite rare.For Chinese Japanese learners,how to use Japanese filler to express idiomatic Japanese as freely as the Japanese has become a big problem.If unable to recognize the fillers' function,and use filling casually in the session,it is possible to form bad mouth addiction in any session,that is,a large number of repeated use of a certain kind of filler words(such as???????????????,etc.).From the perspective of previous studies,there have been a lot of studies on the definition,classification,occurrence position,occurrence rate,function and sound of Japanese filler,but few of them have analyzed and studied on the basis of Chinese Japanese learners' use of Japanese filler.This study is based on the Japanese proficiency test N1/N2 listening test.The listening section of the Japanese language proficiency test is useful learning material for learners of Japanese as a second or foreign language for the following three reasons.First,the listening test of the Japanese language proficiency test is now known to many Japanese learners,and as a necessary means for Japanese learners to learn.Secondly,the research on the listening test of Japanese proficiency test has been concerned by many researchers but not studied.Generally speaking,Japanese filler is the recording of Japanese conversation as Japanese natural conversational corpus.For example,the articles on ?Women's language·workplace?(1997)and ?Men's language·workplace?(2002)compiled by the modern Japanese language research association are used as conversational materials.Therefore,the listening test of Japanese language proficiency test is a ready-made sound recording data as a natural conversation corpus for research.Third,the language features of listening in the Japanese language proficiency test are particularly obvious,especially when Japanese people talk to each other.The use of sex is close to the real language use in real life,which is a reflection of the actual level of language use.Based on the current situation,this study focuses on filler in Japanese conversation and examines the research literature on filler at home and abroad.Using the written Japanese proficiency test listening as the research data,this study analyzes the Chinese Japanese learners' use of filler from the perspective of conversation analysis.The results are as follows:(1)Japanese filler appear in the session number and location of the features are: appear most frequently for ???/????,??/???,?????.Japanese filler are more likely to appear at the beginning and the end of a sentence than at the end of a conversation.(2)The functions of Japanese filler are divided into three types: "Managing the process of conversation","Obtaining and filling gaps",and "Indicating the mental attitude of the speaker".Moreover,in the linguistic form of the ???? system,the functions of the filler,the response,and the affiliation are likely to cause confusion among the learners,and the use of methods and analysis of different points are necessary.(3)Finally,we should consider how to apply understanding of the filler to the application of Japanese language teaching and learning.In addition,Chinese Japanese learners are advised to make good use of materials other than textbooks and to learn Japanese oral.Through this survey,Chinese learners understand the correct use of Japanese filler.The characteristics of the occurrence frequency and position of Japanese filler words in conversation and the functional characteristics of Japanese filler are clarified,which are helpful for Chinese Japanese learners to improve their understanding of filler and improve their oral Japanese.
