In this study, senior high school students were used as subjects to study the differences of mind wandering and distraction inhibition between excellent students and poor students by using persistent attention response task paradigm and negative priming paradigm. In order to explore the effect of mind wandering on distraction inhibition ability of poor students, behavioral experiments and intervention training were used to control mind wandering of poor students in the process of sustained attention response task, and to explore the influence of mind wandering on distraction inhibition ability, and then to change the learning difficulties of poor students.A total of 34 senior high school students were selected as subjects for the study.Firstly, the differences in mind wandering between the excellent students and the poor students were discussed, and the differences in distraction inhibition between the excellent students and the poor students were also discussed.Secondly,by controlling mind wandering in tasks,we observed the effect of mind wandering on distraction inhibition ability of students with learning disabilities. Finally, through mindfulness training, poor students were intervened to observe the effect of mind wandering on distraction inhibition ability. The results show that:(1)There is a significant difference in mind wandering between the excellent students and the poor students in the sustained attention response task. The mind wandering of the poor students in the process of the sustained attention response task is more than that of the excellent students.(2)There is a significant difference in the amount of negative priming between excellent students and poor students. The amount of negative priming of poor students is less than that of excellent students. There is a significant difference in the ability of distraction inhibition between sexcellent students and poor students.Compared with excellent students, poor students have poor ability to inhibit distractors and are more likely to be disturbed by distractors..(3)To explore the change of mind wandering of poor students,we found that the ability of distraction inhibition of poor students under high load condition was better than that under low load condition when mind wandering was less.(4)The results of three-week mindfulness intervention showed that the effect was good, the mind wandering was reduced, and the ability of restraining distraction was improved. This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The mind wandering of poor students in the process of continuous attention response task is more than that of excellent students.(2)Poor students have less negative startup than that of excellent students. They are easily disturbed by distractors and have poor distractors inhibition ability.(3)By controlling the frequency of mind wandering of poor students,it was found that the distraction inhibition ability of poor students was better when mind wandering was less than when mind wandering was more.(4)After mindfulness intervention,it was found that the effect was good, mind wandering of poor students was reduced, and distraction inhibition ability was improved. |
