A Study Of Zhu Wenxiong’s Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings

Zhuang Zi has always been a hot topic in the academic circle in the study of the prose of the ancients before the Qin dynasty.Since its spread,Zhuang Zi has been applauded by scholars and scholars of all dynasties for its unique charm of language and thought.Scholars in the past dynasties have been highly active in the discussion and study of Zhuang Zi.Zhu Wenxiong was one of the scholars who devoted himself to the study of Zhuang Zi in the republic of China.Zhu Wenxiong(1867-1934)with courtesy name Shu Zi,was born in Tai cang,Jiang su province.As one of initiate professor in Wu Xi Guo Zhuan,he was a deputy professor during the reign of emperor Guang xu of the Qing dynasty.Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings was the only work in Zhu Wen Xiong’s life.Zhu Wenxiong who all the while holding the idea that Zhuang Zi promoted the development of Confucianism and laying emphasis on the literary comprehension of the secrets of Zhuang Zi,enriched the study of Zhuang Zi in the early years of the republic of China,and also provided new ideas for us to further study Zhuang Zi.This paper is divided into the following parts:In the part of introduction,the author briefly introduced the development trend of the research on Zhuang Zi and the significance value of this topic.Meanwhile,the author introduced the general research of Zhang Zi in academic world and holds that the current research on Zhu Wenxiong’s Zhuang Zi’s new meanings is either limited to a single paper or only as a small part of the research works,which has not taken Zhu Wenxiong’s Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings as a special research object to conduct a comprehensive review,the research is still incomplete.the current research on Zhu Wen Xiong’s Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings is not complete.The first chapter is mainly about Zhu Wenxiong’s teaching in Wu Xi Guo Zhuan and the accomplishment of ZhuangZi’s New Meanings In addition to his keen interest in Zhuang Zi,the accomplishment of Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings had a close relationship with Zhu Wenxiong’s teaching experience in Wu Xi Guo Zhuan technical college.As a teacher,zhu Wenxiong had a unique understanding of Zhuang Zi in the process of teaching and repeatedly studying Zhuang Zi.In the process of writing Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings,he integrated the research results of many Zhuang Zi scholars The way and choice of annotation in Zhuang Zi’s New Meaning reflected Zhu Wen xiong’ critical absorption of the previous Zhuang Zi’s research achievementsThe second chapter mainly explains the words and phrases of Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings and the method of reciting Zhuang Zi.Zhu Wenxiong’Zhuang Zi New Meaning mainly focused on both word arrangement and explanation of word.In addition,dependent the characteristic of the perspective of sentence breaking,rhyme reading and the fourth tone in Zhuuang Zi,The book Zhuang Zi is comprehensively and meticulously annotated.On the basis of annotations,Zhu Wenxiong also put forward two kinds of reading methods:one is to mobilize the senses and read Zhuang Zi by his own perception;The other is the use of grafting,using analogy to read Zhuang.These two kinds of reading methods not only have zhu Wenxiong’s own unique understanding,but also his inheritance of "Tong City family law",which provide valuable reading experience for later scholars to better understand Zhuang ZiThe third chapter mainly explains the comments of Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings on Zhuang Zi.This chapter was divided into two sections:the first section commented on Zhuang Zi’s linguistic characteristics and the second section commented on the chapter structure of Zhuang Zi.In the part of analyzing the linguistic features of Zhuang Zi,this paper explained the analysis of the words,sentences and rhetoric in Zhuang Zi of the new meanings of Zhuang Zi.In the part of analyzing the structure of ZhuangZi’sarticle,the author analyzes Zhu Wenxiong’s interpretation of the internal and external relations of Zhuang Zi and the internal relations of Zhuang Zi’s article.Zhu Wenxiong’s new meanings of Zhuang Zi sorted out the internal,external and miscellaneous relations of Zhuang Zi by analyzing the relations between the main ideas of each chapter of Zhuang Zi and the key words and sentences that play a leading role in the whole text.The interpretation of the internal relations of Zhuang Zi’s individual works involves the relationships between sentences,between sentences and context,between sentences and paragraphs,and between paragraphs.The fourth chapter was mainly about the thought of analysis in Zhuang Zi’s New Meanings on Zhuang Zi.The Zhu made a new interpretation of Zhuang Zi in explanation Zhuang,which injected fresh blood into the study of Zhuang Zi.Zhu Wenxiong’s new interpretation of Zhuang Zi is his new interpretation of the world view,scientific knowledge,democracy and the doctrine of great harmony in Zhuang Zi.From the viewpoint of the Zhuang-men ciu homology.Zhu Wenxiong pointed out the reason of the same origin of Zhuang Zi and mencius by comparison articles of Zhuang-mencius,and discussed his viewpoint of "attacking old age to reflect the truth of Confucius" and "respecting Confucius by reflection".
