The Czech writer called Milan Kunderahassomething in common with a domestic Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literaturewriter whose name is Wang Xiaobo,which are different textual expressions in the interpretation of the truth of the novel,the display of the artistic aesthetics of the noveland the historical existence immersed in the novel.In kundera's novel,the rapid development of modernistic value makes people forget the significance of self-survival during the fast-paced history.His self-reflection on national development and his exploration in conditionof human existence,exactly meet the cognitive needs of Chinese writerwho faces the same situation calledWang Xiaobo.Compared with Kundera's influence in the international literary world,the introduction of Wang Xiaobo's works shows a certain marginality.Under the basic premise of Parallel Study of Comparative Literature,this thesis compares their novel aesthetics in three dimensions,"ideology""poetry" and"history".In the dimension of "thinking",the possibility of self,alienation of characters and rebels who against to the kitsch constitute the conversational space among their novels.Each character of the novel essentially represents a theme,a possibility of the existence,Thomas'theme is that the life only have once,Agnes'theme is to find herself,Wang Er always asks himself who he is,through the three possible states of life to make life only once exclamation,which represents the pursue about the self by Kundera and Wang Xiaobo.Teresa takes Karenin,the crow and the hare as Thomas'emotional sustenance,Zhao is alienated into a donkey,Wang Er and the pig brother compare with each other in different character development under the same situation and so on,reflecting Kundera and Wang Xiaobo's thinking on human "alienation"under specific circumstances.On the other hand,they tried to create images of Sabina,Chen Qingyang and other characters to resist kitsch and thus find the boundary of"self".In the dimension of "poetry",principles of polyphony and sadistic sexual games lead readers to get the humor of texts.In Kundera's novels,various chapters,themes and styles echo each other,and the integration of dreams and games in the novel shows the carnival of words.The sexual scenes of Thomas and his female lovers,the young lovers in the hitchhiking game,Chantal's dream of flock-mate and so on,presenting the contradiction between soul and body,explaining the absurdity of existence.In Wang Xiaobo's novels,"Wang Er"sometimes is just a signifier,shuttling back and forth in the parallel world between imaginary and realistic,ancient and modern,playing roles in different events,forming a network interwoven by different time points,which has comparability with the creation of Kundera polyphonic art.At the same time,when he incorporated the contradiction between "spirit" and "flesh" of human existence into the whole social system,he focused on the conflict between individual ideals and social norms,such as Wang Er and X,Xue Song and little prostitute,etc.Wang Xiaobo questioned the existence of ethics and morality with the game of sadomasochism.In the dimension of "history",the theme of "exile,memory and oblivion,evasion" strikes the existential bell ofthe their novels.The invasion ofNazi and the exile of the Prague Spring became the marks of trauma,the interlaced history of the country,the nation and the individual added a strong significance to Kundera's novels.The novel "Forgetting Trilogy" and "Farewell Waltz" express that the protagonists constantly seek for themselves,betray kitschy customs and resist amnesia in the way of "escaping".Besides,Wang Xiaobo,who grew up in the Cultural Revolution period,different from other intellectuals,has a set of his own narrative discourse and perspective at the same period.He examines the human existence situation in the period of revolution at the range of the turbulent era from different periods of life.According to Wang Xiaobo,the specific official values erases the memory of history,and the totalitarian suppression of discourse shows an unchallengeable existence Just likethe process of seekingWu Shuang,it is a kind of collective orderly amnesia,which shows that only in this way can the collective value be recognized.Only by remembering history can we constantly introspect on the present,"Wang Er"constantly attempt to escape from the realm of nihility to find the spiritual support.At last,this thesis points out differences of textual aesthetic form and thematic innovation from Wang Xiaobo's texts to Kundera,which focus on the writing of homosexual culture,shows the attention of Comparative Literature on the marginal culture.
