In the romantic period of the 19 th century,the artistic trend of thought occurred repeatedly in various countries.In terms of music,it pays attention to the integration between music and other arts,especially the integration between music and literature.Robert schuman became the pioneer of the combination of music and literature and art in the 19 th century due to his love of literature and the influence of the works of jean Paul and hoffman,who can find literary and poetic shadows in many of his music works.Op.16 “Kreisleriana” is one of the most mature music works created by schumann,which has a typical "schumann style".Based on the German writer hoffman's novel "the life of Moore cat" from the creation.In the music,schumann created two completely different music images,which is consistent with the two different characters in the novel.At the same time,it is highly consistent with the two contradictory personality traits emanating from schumann's tortuous growth experience.In the music,schumann interprets the connotation of the novel with the changeable rhythm,the alternation of major and minor harmonies and the melodies with dramatic conflicts,which further highlights the complex and contradictory psychological and ideological characteristics of schumann himself.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of schumann's early music works,the creation background of op.16 “Kreisleriana”and the characteristics of music,this paper can have a deeper understanding of schumann's writing techniques and artistic characteristics of his early piano works.By studying the performance of op.16 of “Kreisleriana”,the author analyzes the technical difficulties and teaching points of performance in the work,hoping to enable players and learners to have a more comprehensive understanding of the connotation of music and performance skills in the work.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter summarizes the creative characteristics of schumann's early music works.The second chapter studies the creation background,music features of each section,and music ontology analysis of melody,tonality,harmony and rhythm of op.16.The third chapter discusses the key points of teaching and performance of the works,including the understanding of music style,the technical difficulties in performance and the comparison of different players' performance versions.
