Under different stress scenarios, athletes' performance will be different. In the case of high stress, athletes will have higher anxiety in the state of the competition, resulting in decreased performance, which may be related to the athlete's attention strategy during the game.Numerous studies have shown that when an athlete's attention is focused on the effect of the action(external attention focus),it is more favorable to the performance of the movement than focusing on the action itself(internal attention to focus). At the same time, the constant gaze time(quiescent eyes time)on certain key areas also affects athletic performance before the athlete performs the action. This study will use two field experiments to explore the relationship between attention focus, binocular time and motor performance under different stress scenarios,as well as the best binocular time in golf putt.Study 1 explores the effects of attention focus and static eye time on athletic performance under different stress scenarios.Nineteen golfers participated in the golf putting experiment. The subjects were randomly assigned to the internal and external attention focus group, and then the putters of the low pressure and high pressure scenarios were successively performed. The results showed that in the high-stress scenario, the subjects in the external attention focus group performed better than the participants in the internal attention focus group. In the time range of 0.5 second to3.5 seconds, subjects with longer binocular time scored better than subjects with shorter binocular time. However, there is no interaction between the static eye time and the attention focus, that is,the internal and external attention focus groups do not have different effects on the putt performance due to the different duration of the static eye.Study 2 explores the optimal static eye duration in golf puttings with different difficulty levels in the high-pressure scenario, using the external attention focus strategy. As a result of the study, the external attention focus strategy is more helpful in sports. The conclusion of performance, combined with the high-pressure scenario is closer to the real game scenario,so this study creates a high-pressure scenario and manipulates the participants to apply an external attention focus strategy. The difficulty of the golf putter is divided into 3 yards and 5 yards, and the static eye time is divided into 0 to 2 seconds,2 to 4 seconds, and 4 to 6 seconds.Eighteen golfers participated in the experiment, randomly divided the subjects into 3 or 5 yards, and then randomly performed three sets of putters for the static eye time. The final results show that in the high-pressure scenario, the participants used the external attention focus strategy.Whether the distance of the putter is 3 yards or 5 yards, and the duration of the static eye is 2 to 4 seconds, their performance is the best.conclusion:1.First,in the low-stress scenario, there is no difference in the impact of the internal attention focus strategy and the external attention focus strategy on athletic performance, but in the high-stress scenario, the use of the external attention focus strategy is more helpful than the internal attention focus strategy.Sports performance.2.In the time range of 0.5 seconds to 3.5 seconds, the longer the duration of the static eye,the more it contributes to athletic performance.3.Under the stress scenario, using the external attention focus strategy,on the middle and short distance putters, the static eye time of 2 to 4 seconds is most helpful for sports performance.
