Jazz dance is an American modern dance,with lively movements and a sense of rhythm.It requires less rigor and technicality than classical dance,and has a strong sense of rhythm and dynamic elements,which makes it full of flexibility and vitality.People in different social periods have different aesthetic demands in their times,which leads to new dance forms and styles.The jazz dance spawned by industrial civilization has further developed in the information age.On the basis of retaining the syncopated music melody of traditional jazz dance,it developed into a new dance form that can be performed with popular music,rock music,blues music,etc.Modern jazz dance can dance development by absorbing the latest pop music features,so has the very strong plasticity and pack melt,and more entertaining,thanks in large part to cater to people's aesthetic demand under the new social environment and psychological needs,so welcome and accept the general public,it is also a jazz dance will become the main reason for the popularity of new period dance.Although jazz dance in the running mode of European and American countries already have very mature and applicable people,but in China,jazz dance training is the lack of perfect training system,this has caused in the process of jazz dance teaching has some problems,among them,of the dancer's music culture and music master,is the key to the jazz dance teaching,also is the main problem facing.Based on the discussion of music sense training in dance teaching and the analysis of the characteristics of jazz dance movements,this paper expounds the importance of music sense mastering to jazz dance teaching and proposes corresponding measures to cultivate music sense,in the hope of providing positive theoretical reference for jazz dance teaching in China.
