Notes On The Creation Of "Yu Hui" Series

Since the reform and open policy,China's strength in economy,culture and other aspects has been continuously improved.In the field of art,a hundred flowers are blooming in which traditional meticulous painting has also developed into a new era,"pen and ink should follow the times".Contemporary painter need to create paintings with the imprint of the times.In the process of creating the series of "encounter emblem",I tried to make the ladies living in the Tang dynasty picture scroll come out and walk into the modern Huizhou architecture,presenting unnatural images beyond people's visual experience.The first part of this article elaborates the reasons for the creation of "Yu Hui" series and the nutrients drawn from traditional ladies' paintings and western paintings.The second part analyzes the creation process of the works in detail from the aspects of sketch,finished draft,line drawing,color setting,texture,etc.The third part briefly describes the problems encountered in the creation process and the solutions,as well as the author's new thinking on the painting in the future.
