Because of its unique charm,it has decided its importance in the study of Chinese grammar.Since its advent, its research has been continuously heated. Many scholars use different theories to solve the disputes of concurrent sentences from different perspectives to prove their existence value, and have achieved fruitful results. At the same time, they have left behind some problems. On the basis of the previous studies, this paper re-examines concurrent sentences from the perspective of internal and external linguistics, carries out a multi-perspective ontological study of concurrent sentences, and tries to solve the problems left by predecessors,so as to provide new ideas for grammar teaching.Firstly,on the basis of recognizing concurrent sentences, this paper summarizes the general nature of concurrent sentences by synthesizing the views of scholars and their own views.Firstly,we use the theory of Huang Liao to define concurrent sentences, and then explain the implicit characteristics of concurrent sentences,so as to put forward the criteria for judging concurrent sentences.Overall grasp and statement, laid a foundation for detailed analysis of the following.Secondly, from the perspective of Saussure’s internal linguistics,we should learn more about the internal components of concurrent statements. We use three plane theories to explore its inherent laws.Firstly, the syntactic analysis of concurrent sentences shows that concurrent sentences are composed of N1,V1,N2 and V2,which are the structural forms of “N1 + V1 + N2+ V2”.Second,semantic analysis is used to explain the semantic relations of all parts. The case grammar is used to explain the nouns N1 and N2,and to judge the value of verb V1,so as to reorganize the semantic structure of concurrent sentences on the basis of semantic orientation. Then,a pragmatic analysis is made from the dynamic level.First,we talk about the topic and cohesive function of N1 and N2 in the text structure,so as to illustrate its ellipsis and implication. Then explain the function of V1 and V2 from pragmatic focus. Finally,on the basis of a detailed understanding of the internal components of concurrent sentences, from Saussure’s external linguistic point of view,we use cognitive grammar to re-grasp concurrent sentences as a whole.Under the modern category theory, the members of concurrent sentences are classified by typicality and atypia. On the basis of iconicity principle, this paper discriminates the isomorphic and heterogeneous sentence patterns of concurrent sentences to illustrate the characteristics of concurrent sentences.Based on the theory ofconceptual integration, this paper explores the deep mechanism of concurrent sentences and proves their special value so as to perform its functions.
