The Interpretation Of "Symbols" In Milan Kundera's Works

Milan Kundera's works are popular among readers and researchers for the depth and dialectic of his thoughts.There are many research angles,but only a few from the perspective of semiotics.The symbols run through all of Milan Kundera's works,and this paper mainly selects some representative "symbols" to specifically analyze the profound connotation of Milan Kundera's works,which can be divided into the following five parts:The introduction mainly introduces the life and creations of Milan Kundera,the research status at home and abroad,as well as the semiotics principles and research ideas of this paper.Based on previous studies,this paper uses Morris' s division of symbols to study the "symbols" in Kundera's works from three aspects of "Syntactics","Semantics" and "Pragmatics".The first chapter mainly analyzes the character characteristics in Kundera's works.Syntactics focus on the combination of symbols and symbols in Kundera's works,Through the combination of character symbol and carrier symbol,the original meaning of carrier symbol is not only changed,but also the character symbol is more prominent.The carrier symbol is mainly represented by the material symbol and animal symbol which appear most frequently in Kundera's works.Different character symbols and the same material symbols,the combination of animal symbols produced rich meaning,highlighting the characteristics of different characters and living environment.The second chapter mainly analyzes the Semantics of Kundera's novels from the aspects of structure and theme.On the transmission and interpretation of Semantics in Kundera's works,Structural symbols focus on the transmission of meaning,whether it is the "seven" form of the novel or the use of the symbol of the dream structure,Kundera shows the changeful structure of the novel and the different degree of integration between reality and dream.Thematic symbols focus on the interpretation of the meaning of Kundera's works,contraposition,accident and inevitability are the prominent features of its thematic symbols,while forgetting and memory are the core of its thematic symbols.The third chapter mainly analyzes the possibility of Kundera's works to human destiny and novel form from the perspective of internal and external contexts.The symbol of death and rebirth conveys Kundera's affirmation of man and concern for individual destiny.The pastoral symbols express Kundera's thoughts on the ideal destiny of human beings and show the different meanings of pastoral songs from different perspectives.The external context mainly contains the influence of four summoning symbols on Kundera's novels,Kundera explores the many possibilities of the novel form by responding to the call signs of past writers.The conclusion summarizes the main contents of the first three chapters,discusses the importance of "symbols" in Kundera's works again,and puts forward other symbols that are not analyzed but still have value.At the same time,through the interpretation of "symbols" in Kundera's works,people can better understand the value of "novelist" in Kundera's mind.The novelist must not only have his own attitude and stand,but also dare to resist and fight.Through one "symbol" after another,Kundera is constantly inspiring people to think about themselves and the world,calling attention to the reality of the novel.
