Henan's image is an important manifestation of Henan's soft power.Henan has attached great importance to shaping its own image in recent years.Henan image promotional film is an important window to show the image of Henan,because it combines a variety of audio-visual methods and has unique advantages in shaping the image of Henan.However,people in different regions have great differences in thinking habits,meaning acceptance and behavior system.How to embody Henan's image in Henan's image promotional films in a more understandable and communicative way has become a concern of many scholars and experts in the cross-cultural context.Henan's image is an important manifestation of Henan's soft power.Henan has attached great importance to shaping its own image in recent years.Henan image promotional film is an important window to show the image of Henan,because it combines a variety of audio-visual methods and has unique advantages in shaping the image of Henan.However,people in different regions have great differences in thinking habits,meaning acceptance and behavior system.How to embody Henan's image in Henan's image promotional films in a more understandable and communicative way has become a concern of many scholars and experts in the cross-cultural context.In this paper,six representative image promotional films of Henan Province are selected as the research objects,namely "One Minute of Henan","Memory of the Central Plains,Home Henan","Seeing China,Home Henan","The World Looking East from Here","Amazing Henan,Where China Begin" and "Henan Global Promotion Activities".The first chapter elaborates the background,development situation and dissemination value of Henan image propaganda films.The second chapter uses classical narratology theory to analyze the narrative discourse of the six Henan image propaganda films,that is,to elaborate and analyze the narrative time and speed,narrative mode and structure,narrative focus and content of Henan image propaganda films.In the new media communication environment,in order to create a comprehensive,three-dimensional and vivid image of Henan,besides "coding" the discourse from the narrator's point of view,how the reader "decodes" the image of Henan in the narrative works in the specific social and historical context has a profound impact on the dissemination effect of the text.Therefore,the third chapter ofthis paper uses the interactive viewpoint of reader and text,which is emphasized in post-classical narratology,to analyze the social and cultural context and reader acceptance of the six Henan image promotional films,and to elaborate the different aspects of Henan image in different contexts,and how it meets the audience's "horizon of expectation".Through the above research on the internal and external narrative of Henan image promotional film,the fourth chapter of this paper begins to analyze the limitations of Henan image promotional film at the narrative level.Combining with the characteristics of the current network communication,this paper puts forward some pertinent suggestions on the narrative of Henan image promotional film from four aspects: narrative thinking,narrative strategy,narrative focus and narrative realm: narrating "Henan story",and in love.To enhance the narrative appeal in the blending of scenery,to highlight the "Henan characters" so as to make the narrative expression more flexible and full,to shape "three-dimensional Henan",to perspective different aspects with multiple perspectives,to create "image outside the image" and to enhance the narrative realm with artistic blanks.
