The Social Significance Of Literary Of Sombart's Consumptive Theory

Consumptive culture theory has existed since ancient times,but the systematic consideration of consumption in modern technological society began with Marx,and since then various consumptive theories in industrial society have been rising and falling one after another.Sombart's consumptive theory and Marx's consumptive theory have considerable theoretical resources and research objects,but Sombart's consumptive theory itself has very obvious characteristics.Marx's consumptive theory as a prominent domestic science,researchers have done a lot of work.There have been many academic studies on Sombart's consumptive theory,but its in-depth study and practical utility are still just beginning.Therefore,from the perspective of consumptive theory,there is an important theoretical need to conduct research from the inside of Chinese literature and art sociology.This paper takes the literary sociology of Sombart's consumptive theory as the topic,and from the perspective of literary sociology,mainly uses the method of text close reading to study Sombart's academic works and related research works,combining with the consumptive theory.This paper discusses Sombart's consumptive theory from five aspects.Firstly,it discusses the construction of consumer subjectivity from three main groups;secondly,it explains the characterization of Sombart's consumer culture from three perspectives of consumer city,subject materialization and luxury lifestyle;thirdly,it discusses the function of Sombart's consumer culture from three aspects:the construction of social status of luxury consumer culture,the construction of fashion of luxury consumer culture,and the construction of consumer aesthetics of luxury consumer culture;fourthly,it discusses the function of Sombart's consumer Suppression,worship and pursuit of luxury consumptive culture,changes of consumptive culture,Carnival consumptive and symbolization present four dimensions to analyze the internal logic of Sombart's consumptive culture.Finally,the author rethinks Sombart's consumptive theory from three perspectives:suppressed consumptive culture,reconstruction of luxury and subjectivity.From the perspective of Sociology of literature and art,Sombart's consumptive theory shows creative sociological significance of literature and art.The transformation from the principle of demand to the principle of satisfaction;the transformation of symbolic consumptive takes on form,and all forms of consumptive behavior are symbolic consumptive behavior;luxury not only represents waste and waste,but also gradually transits from the original derogatory meaning to the neutral meaning,and also carries the significance of miniaturization,refinement and degree.The development of soc iety is also a process in which people constantly improve and realize themselves.Individuals pursue their own value realization is diversified.At present,the positive value of pursuing luxury and high-quality lifestyle is affirmed by the whole consumer society.From the perspective of Sombart's consumptive theory,this paper explores The Second Generation of Chinese Style and expounds the sociological significance of Sombart's consumptive theory in contemporary Chinese works.
