In the middle and late of 18th centurv,France carried out an educational reform. The biggest achievement of this educational reform was that the Government and the Supreme Court jointly adopted a series of documents centered on the February Act and implemented them, ending the Jesuits. The religious groups represented control the situation of education. This reform promoted the secularization and nationalization of education and promoted the spread of Enlightenment in schools. The spread of this enlightenment thought mobilized the thoughts of the lower literati. The widespread spread of the Enlightenment in schools has led some students to accept theEnlightenment. These youth are full of enlightenment for the literary careers of the Enlightenment philosophers because they accepted the Enlightenment. They chose to move to Paris after they graduate form school. These student hope to become the heir to the Enlightenment philosopher through they own efforts. But most of them were forced to fall to Grubb Street because of their lives, and became the lower literati who relied on writing as a lliving.Although these literati belong to two opposing camps, most of their writings are closely related to enlightenment.Whether it is the promotion of enlightenment by the lower literati who support the enlightenment,or the criticism of the Enlightenment literati on the spirit of enlightenment and enlightement, their works are inseparable from the main line of ideolory. Therefore, the enlightenment thought of the education reform communication provides a theoretical source for their witing. The spread of the Enlightenment brought about by educational reform is also changing readers’ reading preferences.By comparing the reading habits of readers in the north and south of France,we find that because of the imbalance in the educational reforms in the North and the South, the reading interests of readers in the two places have great difference. This difference also affects the number and geographical distribution of the lower literati to some extent. In summary,we can conclude that the impact of French education reform in the 1760s on the lower literati group can be seen from the direct and indirect effects:on the one hand, education reform promotes the spread of Enlightenment The lower literati touched the enlightenment thought and provided the theoretical origin for their writing. On the other hand, the educational reform affected the reader’s reading interest and created the market for the lower literati. Therefore, the number of lower literati was increased. At the same time, the reader The geographical differences in reading interest, the imbalance of education reform in the north and the south, and the literati who were born in the southern region or educated in the southern region, chose to come to Paris because of the lack of readers’ needs, thus affecting the geographical distribution of readers.
