From the perspective of phenomenology,the paper intends to explore the healing power of watercolor mandala.This paper points out the significant of Art for Life's Sake and it's innate connection with mandala after introspection of Art for Art's Sake.Moreover,the paper elaborated the signification of watercolor mandala in arts therapy through discussing the prototypicality of circle,the relation between expressive therapy and form and color,as well as the connection between water-based material and emotional expression.Finally,the paper analysed personal firsthand practice in drawing watercolor mandala and summarized that how it heals.
