In a society where life rhythm is accelerating, and pressure is everywhere, individual happiness has gradually become one of the essential indicators to measure happiness in life. Therefore, many scholars at home and abroad are devoted to studying the influencing factors of subjective well-being,trying to Improve and improve the level of individual well-being.However,the large-scale study on happiness only needs to explain its influencing factors, but rarely focuses on the impact of studying happiness on the individual’s way of thinking. In recent years, some scholars have studied the effects of individual happiness and psychological capital on counterfactual thinking and regret, but there is still no systematic study on the interrelationship between these variables.Based on previous studies, this paper explores the relationship between subjective well-being and psychological capital on counterfactual thinking. In this study,280 questionnaires were collected through both on-site and on-line forms. After statistics and sorting out,263 of them were valid questionnaires, with an effective rate of 93%.Through the analysis of the data, this study draws the following conclusions:(1)The well-being,psychological capital, counterfactual thinking and regret of the research subjects have significant individual differences in demographic variables;(2)The sense of well-being has an impact on counterfactual thinking. When the individual’s level of well-being is higher, more down-the-fact counterfactual thinking will be carried out, resulting in more positive and positive emotions;and when the individual’s level of well-being is lower, more will be carried out in the opposite direction—factual thinking, which leads to more negative feelings such as regret, anger and so on.The study found that there is no significant predictive relationship between individual well-being and regret, and there is a significant negative predictive relationship between achieving happiness and regret.(3)The results of the study show that there is a significant positive correlation between the individual’s self-happiness and the realization of happiness and psychological capital. However, the individual’s happiness is negative predictive of psychological capital, and the realization of happiness is a definite prediction.Psychological capital.(4)The various dimensions of psychological capital:self-efficacy,hope,optimism,resilience,and the total score of psychological capital are significantly negatively correlated with counterfactual thinking and regret. However,as long as self-efficacy and optimism can significantly negatively predict Counterfactual thinking,self-efficacy and resilience can significantly predict regrets in a negative direction.(5)Self-efficacy,hope,optimism,and resilience do not play an intermediary role between individual well-being and descending counterfactual thinking;self-efficacy and hope play a complete role in achieving happiness and descending counterfactual thinking. The role of the intermediary.(6)When the various levels of psychological capital are divided into dimensions, they do not play an intermediary role between individual happiness and regret;and hope and resilience play a partial intermediary role in achieving happiness and regret. The total score of psychological capital plays a part in mediating between individual happiness,self-fulfillment,and regret.
