The thought of Chuang Tzu is hermit's thought. The Tao,which is connotated in five aspects of "free-spirited","sole contact with the spirit of heaven and earth","no beginning or seal","no beginning","no end" and "inappropriate name",is hermit's solution to their own problems. This scheme presupposes the logical premise of "willing to go”and"feasible”and undergoes a process from"human view" to "Taoist view",which is embodied in the discussion of a series of issues such as "I","criteria" and "true self'.Because in theory, the hermits need to retain the existence of "I".In the realization of the scheme, they did not choose the way of dissolving themselves through moral cultivation as Confucianism did.Instead, they chose the way of eliminating know-ledge represented by "sitting and forgetting"and "keeping pure Qi",and finally put their scheme into practice as a spiritual realm.
