From the perspective of subject classification and poetry style,by using the following research strateges such as text analysis,comparative research,and acceptance research,This thesis studies the mission-to-the-north poetry of the post-Li poet Ruwan Ding in Vietnam,trying to grasp the general situation of his mission-to-the-north poetry on the basis of description of the poems.This thesis consists of five parts: the introduction part defines the research theme of this paper as 127 mission-to-the-north poems by Ding Ruwan,and expounds the present research situation,the significance of the topic and the research approaches.The second part introduces Ding Ruwan's life and his creation,clearly presents his life course in combination with Ding Ruwan's living historical background.Meanwhile It paves the way for the expansion of the contents of the third or fourth chapters.Starting from the macroscopic view,The third part divides his poetry into three major themes: travelling journal poems,the singing poems and nostalgia poems.According to the specific poems,this part analyzes main contents of the poems and the author's thoughts and feelings.Journal poetry mainly records the local customs,describes the beauty of the mountains and the rivers,states his feelings during his journeys,and the thoughts of his own country;the singing poems record the poet's interaction with the three different groups of bureaucrats,literati and the bottom people.The nostalgia poetry expresses the feelings when he visited the place of interest and historical figures.The fourth part deeply analyzes the artistic styles of the misssion-to-the north poetry in combination with specific poems.The general tone of the poems is mellow and elegant and clear and it is menefested in three different styles: the style of being graceful and dilute,The style of coldness and the style of being elegant.The fifth part discusses tne acceptance of Ding's poetry to poetry of the Tang Dynasty.
