At the era of the constantly acceleration of the modernization progress of China,many high-qualified personnel are in great need,why the traditional Chinese culture course shall be added into the higher vocational college.Faced on the weak status of the traditional Chinese culture education in current situation and based on the analyze for the history and current situation of traditional Chinese culture education,what kinds of problems for the teaching methods and strategies of traditional Chinese culture teaching shall be pay attention to and which aspects can be improved,such kinds of problems which related to the position and course teaching of traditional Chinese culture education are the controversial issue in the educational circles and it is also the main research direction of the article.The article adopt the methods such as document research,social investigations,data analysis,visiting and summarizing,etc.through analyze the achievements and shortcomings of traditional Chinese culture education at Tangshan Industrial Vocational Institute,to study the existing problems and improve measures for the traditional Chinese culture education course at vocational college.The viewpoint was proposed that the traditional Chinese culture education is a kind of primary education for complete the quality cultivation and it should be in an important position at teaching arrangement for all of the colleges and universities.It is analyze the relationship between the traditional Chinese culture education and professional skill learning.The traditional Chinese culture education can help to increase the humanistic quality and comprehensive quality of the students,to perfection the thinking mode and establish correct values of students.And then help to increase the consciousness and comprehension ability for professional skill learning of the students.The traditional Chinese culture education shall have higher priority than the professional skill learning.Several practical solutions were proposed for the teaching target,teaching methods,teaching content,the existing problems and educational reform directions for the traditional Chinese culture course at higher vocational college.
