A Study On Pragmatic Strategies Of Sketch Language

The sketch,as one of the artistic performances of the audience,reflects the development of the Society and the progress of the Times,and reveals the pragmatic skills and the charm of language.Therefore,this paper makes a necessary description of the sketch language by combining the relevant pragmatics theories,and probes into how to generate the pragmatic strategy successfully to produce the humorous language operation mechanism.At the same time,taking into account the chronological sequence and the audience of the selected corpus,this paper takes the 20 Spring Festival Gala essay which Cai Ming in 2007-2017 years as research corpus,expects to makes a tentative step for further study of the sketch language.The main contents of this paper are divided into four parts: the first part defines the pragmatic category of the sketch language;the second part expounds the precondition of the realization of pragmatic strategy;the third part analyzes the phonetic level,lexical level and sentence level of pragmatic strategy from the perspective of linguistics.The Forth part expounds the usage of pragmatic strategy and its application effect.At the end of the paper,an appendix is used to analyze and annotate the pragmatic strategy mechanism for reference.Through the whole study,finally came to the following conclusions: First,in the definition of the sketch language,we think that the sketch language originates from life and is higher than the artistic existence form of life;Secondly,in the performance of the sketch,the successful implementation of pragmatic strategy must possess three prerequisites of plot,context and subject can produce the conversational language with humorous effect and pragmatic meaning;Thirdly,the implementation of pragmatic strategy is essentially the choice of language units in the three languages of speech,vocabulary and sentence.Finally,in the sketch language,the most commonly used pragmatic strategies can be summed up in five categories: manufacturing misunderstanding strategy,violating common sense strategy,intentional circling strategy,the same language and different strategies and banter strategy.In a word,this paper hopes to broaden the pragmatic research field of pragmatics bystudying the pragmatic strategies of sketch language,and also to provide a new perspective and approach for the study of sketch language and other forms of artistic language.
