Since the age of internet was coming,the inheritance environment has changed.Modern bring the challenge to folk custom tradition and civil preservation.Many outstanding intangible cultural heritages are on the verge of extinction.Audio-visual language is special which is the combination of various lens scheduling methods and various techniques of sound application.It records the historical origin,development and inheritance of the Qu Yi intangible cultural heritage project,Of course Audio-visual language also records its performance tools,musical instruments,and performance clothing.The most important is that it can display the wonderful history of inheritor inheritance.It created high value of transmission.This paper will explore the practice and significance of audio-visual language in the process of the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of Qu Yi by summing up and analyzing my documentary creative process which is named ‘I live for storytelling'.
