The Revision Of The University Students’ Peer Pressure Inventory And The Cross Sectional Investigation Study

Objective: The scale of peer pressure was developed and the current situation of peer pressure was studied,and its characteristics and structure were studied.。Methods: According to the stratified sampling of college students,the scale of peer pressure was developed.Use the same sampling method to increase the sample size and verify the scale.The current situation and characteristics of peer pressure of college students were studied by using a scale with the standard of reliability and validity.Input the collected data into the Epi Data3.1 and import the data into SPSS22.0 for analysis.Results: Through exploratory factor analysis,31 items and 6 dimensions of peer pressure scale were obtained.The prepared peer pressure scale has a better reliability and validity.The coefficient of kronbach is 0.744,and the scale has certain precision,stability and internal consistency.Most college students’ self﹣perceived peer pressure is great and comes mainly from academic pressure.More than 70 percent of college students surveyed believe that peer pressure will make the standard of success more and more simple,and the social comparison will be even stronger.Stick to what you think is the right path,and strive to make your life better as a choice to cope with peer pressure.College students mainly experience positive peer pressure.Boys are moresusceptible to negative stress than girls.Older people feel more peer pressure than younger ones.College students who were underweight,overweight and obese were under peer pressure from college students who were normal weight.Children who recombine families,single mothers,and single mothers feel more peer pressure than their nuclear family and extended family.Permissive children are more likely to experience peer pressure than those who are free and democratic.The influence of parents’ educational background,personal achievement ranking,family income and emotional state on college students’ peer pressure is not obvious.Conclusion: 1.Revision of the college students peer pressure scale by indiscipline,family activities,heterosexual contacts,with peers,school and after school life of six dimensions,six dimensions of the cumulative contribution rate reached 61.94%,the overall internal consistency of 0.744.The revised peer pressure scale had better reliability.2.The degree of peer pressure experienced by college students is relatively small,and it is mainly positive pressure.Girls’ peer pressure is slightly higher than boys,and male peer pressure is often negative peer pressure;Senior peer pressure is higher than grade;College students who reorganize families and single parent families are more peer pressure than those in the core family and extended family.There are several types of drowning students.3.The high and low income of the urban and rural families,the level of the parents’ education,and the high and low living expenses of the students are not much affected by the peer pressure of college students.
