Entering the 21 st century,the novel 1Q84 of the Japanese novelist and American literature translator HARUKI MURAKAMI is becoming an important topic in the world.Simply reading from its title,the novel 1984 of the British writer ORWELL will have any connection.HARUKI MURAKAMI's 1Q84 was published as this opportunity in 2009,the 1Q84 and 1984 were arisen the public opinion in the world again.The peoples in different countries are gazed,and the study on the two works becomes the boom.The 1Q84 and 1984 are eyed to promote the study of literary works from the viewpoint of comparative literature in this paper,as the both writers at home and abroad were based on the previous research in recent years.It is mainly adopted in the study of literature that the research method about an analysis of literature and contrast that is used.The conclusion could be drawn and the data was analysed that published in China and Japan such as books and papersFirst of all,it is based on the course from the background of both writers to the creation of the both works.The next,it is analysed on the contents of these works.At last,summarizing and reading the art features that have held respectively from the representation method of the works,and researching on the thoughts and mind are included in it.Through the analysis and comparison,the similarity of the 1Q84 and 1984 is not fortuitous,the story in 1Q84 that it was draw was Inspired from 1Q84 as the source.There is a conclusion about the both works.Both of the writers did their best to arouse the public's resist and introspection about the real world and social problems.On the stage of world literature,the both works are the glorious achievements that these are incomparable.
