Early childhood education is the starting point of lifelong education.The literacy education among them is widely concerned by everyone.Various research institutions and educational institutions have launched their own literacy teaching materials and literacy methods,all of these methods have played a positive role in children's thinking and cognitive development to varying degrees.However,some of the problems that came with it have gradually emerged,and many educational institutions have learned how to use a few thousand words as selling points for profit,the general public advocated "don't let children lose at the starting line" to cater to the parents' mentality,but neglected the children's physical and mental development characteristics at this stage.In view of the fact that existing literacy textbooks have excessively pursued literacy and neglected the cultural connotation of Chinese characters,from the perspective of the graphic language,the author combines the cognitive characteristics of children,visual theory and the characteristics of Chinese characters,and tries to make a preliminary attempt to explore literacy methods that both recognize the shape of words and emphasize the meaning of the characters.This article focuses on the background of Chinese character culture and education in children's literacy.It investigates and analyzes the status quo of the implementation of Chinese character culture education in children at home and abroad,and discusses related literature.The relevance of these documents to this topic.At the same time,taking the perspective of the visual communication design as the starting point,the relevant theoretical knowledge of the graphic is used to visually design the educational resource contained in the Chinese character itself during the literacy process,and the graphic and different Chinese character construction methods are summarized.Relevance,according to the cognitive characteristics of children's age range,establish a set of patterns for the application of graphical language in the culture and education of Chinese characters,and provide relevant reference and reference for research on related topics.
