China has been a great cultural nation since ancient times.The nineteen Party pointed out that culture is the soul of a nation and a nation.The culture is prosperous and the culture is strong.Chinese traditional cultural heritage condenses the wisdom of Chinese people,and is the crystallization of wisdom and civilization of the Chinese nation.In 2006,a nationwide upsurge of intangible cultural heritage protection was launched in order to standardize the protection of intangible cultural heritage.However,the protection and inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage can not only rely on the government,but also need to create a strong atmosphere for the protection and inheritance of the whole people,so as to keep the excellent traditional culture alive in the production of life.Chinese traditional culture has formed its own characteristics in the process of development,and the traditional culture of non legacy is designed and applied to modern packaging design to realize the living culture of the non remains.This article,starting from the background of the research object,tries to explore the application methods and principles of the non legacy cultural symbols in the packaging design of local characteristic products,in order to improve the cultural connotation and aesthetics of the packaging of Hubei's intangible cultural products,so as to increase the cultural and economic value of their products.Based on the research status and importance of this topic,we draw the research topic.First,the current situation of Xiaogan non legacy culture and Hubei local packaging design was analyzed,and the application value of Xiaogan non legacy cultural symbol in the packaging design of local characteristic products was discussed.Under the guidance of semiotics and communication,the application of the non legacy culture in the packaging design of local characteristics was carried out under the guidance of specific cases.On this basis,the study focuses on the design principles and methods of the non legacy cultural symbols in the local characteristics packaging.Finally,the new method is applied to the practice of Wuchang Fish packaging.The final conclusion of this paper is that the consumer demand is the main factoraffecting the consumer's purchase of local characteristic products.The introduction of the theory of semiotics and communication in packaging design can provide a better methodology for the packaging design of local characteristics.From the new way of thinking,the design of packaging for Hubei Wuchang fish is better designed for consumers,which can better promote the brand and product,and improve the sales volume effectively.Therefore,the new method of packaging design of local characteristic products based on the theory of semiotics and communication is the research of both theoretical value and practical significance.
