After the Overseas Chinese Women Writers Association had been founded by Chen Ruo Xi,Yu Li Hua and so on in 1978.Acted as a group,Overseas Chinese Women Writers took an active part in the circle of literature and art.As the main force,Overseas Chinese Women Writers are also the object that attracts lots of Chinese researchers.Hundreds of papers related to Overseas Chinese Women Writers has been published.Our research bases on the achievements attached to Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their literary activities conducted by Chinese researchers,aims at tease and study the achievements in a systematic,comprehensive,and academic way.And propose questions such as theoretical innovation and transition of research paradigm in this field.In order to make our study clear,we divide the Chinse researches on Overseas Chinese Women Writers into three stages—start-up stage(1979-1989),development stage(1990-1999),prosperous stage(2000-).We mainly concentrate on two plates,Overseas Chinese Women Writers in Southeast Asia and Europe,America and Australia.We study in a comprehensive way,and analysis the differences in each stage.We try to come up with the Chinses academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works.At the same time,we focus on the representative research in every stage.The paper made up by five chapters.The first chapter proceeds with the appearance of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their effects on both domestic and overseas,the origin of Overseas Chinese Women Writers research and its significance,demarcation and differences in corresponding concepts,which aims at explaining the background of the study and correlative concepts.In the part of the demarcation and differences in corresponding concepts,we concentrate on specific connotation and the similarities and differences between some misleading exclusive nouns,such as ” Literature in Chinse and Literature by Chinese”,” Overseas Chinese Women Writers and World Chinese Literature”,” Overseas Chinese Literature and Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature” and so on.Therefor,we can make the range of our study clear and easy to understand.The second chapter make a comment on the Chinese researchers’ study of Overseas Chinese Women Writers in a diachronic way.The chapter is divided into three stages,includes tart-up stage(1979-1989),development stage(1990-1999),prosperous stage(2000-).We mainly concentrate on two plates,Overseas Chinese Women Writers in Southeast Asia and Europe,America and Australia.We try to come up with the Chinses academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works.At the same time,we focus on the representative research in every stage.The key point is to trim Chinese researchers’ study of different stages of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works.The difficulty is to collect,analysis and classify a large quantity of data and papers.And thus form the rudiment of Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers.The third chapter discuss the Overseas Chinese Women Writers by a survey of multiple view.It bases on the second chapter and makes a summary of concepts,key words and core theories that Chinese researches criticize mostly during their study of Overseas Chinese Women Writers.Such as “Feminine Writing and Female Subject Construction”,”Other Discourse and Choices of Culture Identity”,“Oriental Imagining and Construction on Ethnic History”,and so on.We case in point by corresponding examples.In order to clear up and extract the significant and representative academic hot topics and frontier thesis.,which emerge from the study of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works conducted by Chinese researchers.We discuss the evolvement of focus of the research and viewpoint switching during 30-year academice course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers at the same time.The forth chapter focus on the division of the group and subject research,which includes” the division of Overseas Chinese Women Writers” and” subject research on Overseas Chinese Women Writers”.The second part contains three sections,research on southeastern Asia Chinese Women Writers—with examples of Meng Li,Duo La and Li Zishu,research on Chinese Women Writers among Taiwan foreigner students--with examples of Nie Hualing,Yu Lihua,and Chen Ruoxi,research on new migrants Chinese Women Writers--with examples of Yan Geling,Zhang Ling and Hong Ying.The key point is to survey the domestic researches on the prominent and outstanding Overseas Chinese Women Writers,try to make a systematic comment on academic research.At the same time,highlight the differences between different writers and their writings,thus to point to area.In the fifth chapter,we make an assessment on the development of Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers.It bases on the former four chapters,makes the summary,assessment,introspection and criticism on the current situation of Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers.We also discuss the theoretical significance and the value of the issue.We contrast Chinese academic research with overseas academic research,and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese academic research.The key point is to highlight the significance and possibility of the theoretical construction and methodology innovation.The difficulty is to propose constructive and prospective criticism and advice on the transition of the research paradigm of Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers.When we look back on the 30-year Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers,we found it presents a historical developing process with the objects becomes more,the view broader,the methods richer.The research paradigm of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works has transform from the initial impressionism,social and historical criticism,neoformalism to comparative criticism and cultural criticism.The theories of western literature,such as cultural poetics,cultural anthropology,folk sociology,postcolonial theory,feminism and new historicism have been put into use.The conscience of theory innovation has been enhanced.Our study is not only to review the history,but also to face the future.We need to tease and summarize the achievements of 30-year Chinese academic course of Overseas Chinese Women Writers in a sociological,historical and cultural viewing.Try to construct a profound academic history,explore the existence value of Overseas Chinese Women Writers and their works,and thus to promote the discipline construction of the research of overseas Chinese literature.
