Numbers play an indispensable role in People's Daily life.Since ancient times,the magic and mystery of Numbers have been attracting scholars from all fields to explore.Studies have shown that digital processing is closely related to attention.Digital processing will automatically trigger the attention transfer in space and attention to the SANR effect.However,it is important to note that the SNARC effect is weak as a whole,and it is necessary to further verify the characteristics of digital processing process.The study of spatial attention is the potential brain mechanism of the connection between digital and space,which provides a new perspective for the research of digital cognitive processing.In this study,we hypothesized that working memory replaced the psychological digital line to explain that the SNARC effect was a theoretical research framework,and three experiments were designed.According to the experimental paradigm of Fischer et al.(2003)and van Dijck et al.(2013),the experimental paradigm carried out point detection tasks,with numbers and letters as experimental materials,to explore whether the processing of memory sequence information in the working memory condition could induce the spatial attention transfer,and the reaction tendency of the impact point detection task should be paid attention to the SNARC effect.Research findings:(1)Experiment 1 repeated Fischier Numbers(2003)experiment,size of the tip point detecting position task,it is found that digital size and interaction point detection did not reach significant level,and the odd-even judgement task SNARC effect and clues suggest interval(CTIs)appear under the attention of the SNARC effect of the correlation was not significant(p > 0.05),digital size can't spatial attention.(2)The results of the experiment 2 show that the sequence of Numbers in the memory of the job is a remarkable level of interaction with point of location,and in CTI,at 100 milliseconds and 400 milliseconds,the sequence of memory sequences and points of detection are at a significant level,and the sequence of Numbers in the work memory is coded to the spatial attention,and notice the SNARC effect.(3)The results of the experiment 3 show that interaction between the sequence number and the point detection position of the letter in the working memory is remarkable when the target interval of the thread is 700 ms,the interaction of the point detection position is remarkable,and the work memory is an important theory to account for the effect of SNARC.In view of that above result,it can recognize that the work memory is an important mechanism of digital cognitive processing,in addition,the spatial attention is not the characteristic of the digit,and the non-numerical value can also drive the spatial attention in the characterization of the working memory,and the attention is paid to the SNARC effect.Letter and Numbers have difference in working memory capacity,letters are usually larger in work memory span,and Numbers are more efficiently maintained and retrieved in working memory.In conclusion,working memory can better explain the complexity of the attentional SNARC effect and flexibility.
