Li Dazhao’s View Of Traditional Culture

Li Dazhao is an outstanding representative of the New Cultural Movement.He opposes the rejuvenation of Confucianism,demands freedom of thought,and calls on young people not to be nostalgic for the society to die.He followed the trend of the times,took the lead in China raised the banner of Marxism,for China to clear the direction of the development of new socialism.Li Dazhao from a traditional democrat into a Marxist,the process of socialists,his understanding of traditional Chinese culture has played a significant role in this transformation.But the current people’s understanding of Li Dazhao’s view of traditional culture is biased,but emphasizes his criticism and criticism of traditional culture in the new culture movement,while ignoring his inheritance and absorption of the essence of traditional culture.Based on Li Dazhao’s childhood family background and educational background,this article analyzes Li Dazhao’s attitude and viewpoints on traditional culture,analyzes the formation and development of his traditional view of culture,explores his critical attitude toward the traditional culture,And innovation,combined with the relevant content of cultural confidence of the 19 th National Congress,analyzes the guiding role of this critical innovation in the development of modern Chinese culture,especially for the development of China’s advanced socialist culture.This article focuses on the interpretation of his thought from Li Dazhao’s whole lifetime,and explores the influence of Li Dazhao on the traditional culture’s view and attitude,and analyzes his criticism of the traditional culture represented by Confucianism,Taoism and Mohism,and analyze the significance of Li Dazhao’s traditional culture view in both theory and practice.By studying Li Dazhao’s view of traditional culture,we can sort out his tendency for the integration of Marxism and Chinese culture,and can clarify his experiences on spreading and applicating the foreign,western Marxism on the local,traditional semi-colonial and semi-feudal China,can also explore the requirement of Marxistm that how to combine the practice and theory and put it into practice rather than on paper.
