Woodcut Prints Return To Life

In the past few decades of the multifold development of Chinese prints,the most obvious boundary is the beginning of Lu Xun's new woodcut pictures.Before this tim e,the themes of the prints are focused on the characters or things of the real life and th e contents are close to life.After that period,the development of prints is diversified,making major breakthroughs and progress in the form and content.However,there are a lot of problems inside this scene of prosperity.More and more artists lack of though ts about the prints themselves and only pursue the material returns.So there is a lot of works lack of real emotions.Many of the works pursue the exaggeration of effect and the form,but they lack of ideological connotation and life experience.However,wor ks lack of life and thoughts can not stand the test of time.Therefore,artistic creation c an not be separated from life,and life can not be equivalent to art as well.Of course,this circumstance is also related to the development of the society and the change of the times.The 21 st century is an era of rapid development.Many peopl e failed to keep up with the pace of the times and become fickleness.It is also because of this,we are encouraged to return to the most real life,deeply exploring and ackno wledging the reality of social life.In order to create more popular prints,artists should be able to combine creation with reality and return to the truth.This paper focus on the woodcut pictures that return to life and is mainly combin ed with the author's creation exploration process.The "truck" is used as the clue to ex plore the beauty of "knot" in life.This paper probes into the "knot" culture in Chinese traditional and modern life and describes the close relation between the knot and the h istorical culture and the living culture,thus ensuring the feasibility of the conte.As for the innovation of the works,the author seeks all kinds of conjunction poin ts of emotion in life and creation for recreation.In terms of expression and language,t he author probes into the transformation and expression of the language of life and black and white woodcut.The linear beauty of the "rope" itself is also explored in the wo odcut language,trying to show the language of black and white woodcut and the refle ction of life emotion.At the end of this article,the author advocates that artists should be the link betw een art and life of the woodcut pictures.They should also let the woodcut pictures go from art to life.It is hoped that the new generation of wood engraving art creators cou ld progress together in the road of the development of woodcut art.
