The Research About Mutual Melting Of Contemporary Art And Visual Contemporary Design

Contemporary art and contemporary design are two very important two topics in the current art education system.Microscopically design and art are distinct from each other but naturally linked.Design is functional and practical.Its existence is mainly to meet the needs of people’s life.It is because of these properties that design has universal public participation.There is a saying that designers wears shackles in their dance.A major feature of design is to solve the problems in predetermined circumstances.Preparing for a new product for the market,we will perform pre-sales market research on consumer spending habits,and,then accordingly,package,advertise in a series of publicity leveraging color,graphics,and fonts as elements of propaganda element all in rational thinking without loss of beauty.In comparison,art tends to be aesthetic,and retrospective.And it tends to be individualistic based on all aspects of life experience of the artist.The goal of art is to express certain thoughts or emotions.For instance,Edward Munch,the pioneer of modernist painting,whose mothers and younger sisters have been lost one after another,and the unhappiness of childhood have a profound influence on the creation of his life,expressed sadness and depressed mood throughout his work.Therefore,this shows that the art bias toward being sensual while design bias toward being rational.Human art history can be roughly divided into primitive art(beginning about 3million years),classical art(approximately from the first century BC ancient classical Rome or the late 17 th century classical French to the late 19 th century),modern art,post-modern art,and contemporary art.The reference to "contemporary art" is mainly because the term "modern art" is easily confused with the "modern art" that has existed in the past.Contemporary art,beginning with the radical art in the late 1960 s and represented by John.Cage and Powys,advocated the return of art to everyday life,focused on artistic sporadic and procedural nature.The artists believe that all forms can be created using presently finished products and new media.Linguistically speaking,contemporary art is actually a kind of "total art".In other words,in a work,paintings,sculptures,ready-mades,performances,videos and other forms of language can be used.In terms of concept,contemporary art opposes modernism’s dependency on media as the center to define art,contemporary art is actually a kind of integrated art.Design is creation,planning,and vision.Design provides solution to the problem by visually conveying the activities of the process.It includes the main categories of modern architecture,modern products,modern graphic design,advertising design,fashion design,and textile design.Design is derived from the needs of people’s daily life and the life culture that human beings want to create.They are developed in every particular age,nation and region,and serve the daily life of people.Therefore,design combines things and life to create certain impact on life.The main starting point of design is altruismFrom the development point of view,from the sprout of modern design to the "Art Nouveau" movement to the modernist design to the Bauhaus,and to the modern each period has its own focus,design is becoming more and more developed and scientific whether it is from theory or practice.From design purpose to design research,design manufacture,sale,use,and environmental protection,design has becoming increasingly sophisticated,scientific and rational.Designers need to think,analyze,synthesize market demand,consumer characteristics,price standards,customer intentions,ergonomics,materials and technical factors.They need to submit their design results to clients by making models or drawing predictions.The customer’s consent is needed before a design can be produced.This shows that design,in any case of progress,always around the theme to serve people.As long as it meets people’s needs better,everything can be designed.Broad design covers everything.Art can be said to be very human self-expression.Design is to solve the relationship between man-made and human issues.Due to the continuous development of economy and society,people are increasingly demanding on the quality of life.Art and design play an extremely important role.There are designs in the art,and art in design.It has long been difficult to distinguish each other.From a small pin to a grand opening ceremony of the Olympic Games,there are efforts by designers and artists working together.The author was fortunate enough to have experienced the design process at the undergraduate level.The author also felt the charm of oil painting as a graduate.The author believe that the two fields will be getting closer and closer so as to achieve a mutually integrated situation.
