Although Marx did not have a dedicated book on ethics,his ethical ideas have always been carried through in his works in different periods.This article attempts to begin with the influence of Western traditional ethics,to explores the germination,development and maturation logical evolution of Marx’s ethical thoughts by studying his works in different periods,in order to enrich and deepen the study of Marxist ethics.First of all,this article begins with the ancient Greek ethics,Christianity and Judaism and Kant’s ethical thought.It expounds the influence of the sacrosanct ideology and religion on Marx.These are the theoretical origin of Marx’s ethical thoughts.From the student’s time to the editorial of The Rheinische Zeitung,the humanism germinated.In the Hegel’s Philosophy Comment Preamble and On the Jewish Question,he has thoughts about the anatomy of civil society and the liberation of human beings.The Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844 criticized labor alienation and explored the nature of man.This article completely traces the process of the germination,formation and development of Marx’s ethical ideas.Finally,the “Outline on Feuerbach”proposes new materialism,“German Ideology” concerns individuals in reality,“Poverty of Philosophy” and “Communist Manifesto” put forward the ethical ideal of liberation and communism of all mankind.This is the maturity of Marx’s ethical thinking.Through combing research,we can find that in the early days Marx put more emphasis on personal freedom and social justice,but this is more of traditional humanitarianism;During the development period,Marx saw the constraints and influence of real economic life on human ethical life,and creatively put forward historical materialism;In the mature period,Marx based on the relationship betweenmaterial production activities and economic interests,through the reform of the system,the establishment of a "combination of free people" to achieve a happy life for humanity.Marx based on personal autonomy as the core of German classical ethical reflection and criticism of the capitalist system,hope that through institutional change,in order to in the communist society,the improvement of the moral.
