From Historicality To Historically Effected Consciousness

Historicality is an important concept of fundamental ontology in “Being and Time”,historicality is Dasein’s historicality,which is constituted by Dasein’s Temporalit.In the horizon of Philosophical Hermeneutics,Heidegger translates methodological hermeneutics into ontological hermeneutics,Gadamer’s hermeneutics keep inheritance from that of Heidegger’s ontological Hermeneutics of facticity,he conscious Heidegger’s structure of fore-understanding is in hermeneutical situation,which is the media to his hermeneutics and the key point to Dasein’s historicality and Dasein’s historicality.He elevates the historicity of understanding to the status of a hermeneutics principle to inherit and constitute his own hermaneutics,so,Gadamer converts Dasein’s historicality into Dasein’s historicality,which indicates that historically effective consciousness preserves historical consciousness truly in the process of understanding,so it is necessary for us to take account of the historicality belonged to both readers and objects to be understood.That historicism is the second degree historicism which Heidegger and Gadamer stand for,it differ from traditional objective historicism,Through the Comparative Study of Dasein’s Historicality and Historically Effective Consciousness,we can see that Gadamer’s historically effective consciousness in Philosophical Hermeneutics contain “distance of time”,“fusion of horizons” and “effective history”,which promotes Heidegger’s Dasein’s historicality abundantly and specially,promoting his hermeneutiacal context.With the understanding of Heidegger‘s turning of thinking in his later period,Gadamer engages and elevates Heidegger’s hermeneutics in his own method to solve Heidegger’s dilemma of hermeneutics in his early period.Moreover,he is willing to making a difference by posing a new question which aims at resolving the dilemma in Heidegger’s later period,so,historically effective consciousness can be define the answer for the question,while the answer also means to be a new question.
