| Lingnan dance is like a treasure with richness and diversity and also people in Guangdong province is bold and open-minded,making the art of Guangdong province etched a distinctive local characteristic and infiltrated the advanced ideas of contemporary arts.Through mutual integration under the collision,the patterns of current Lingnan dance gradually formulated.The creation of Lingnan dance is inclined to extract inspirations from the land culture such as Guangfu culture,Hakka culture,farming culture and ethnic culture,while marine-involving culture is relatively neglected,making a loss of its important position in Guangdong province and the unique regional customs as well.However,under the national strategy of maritime power and the individual pursuit for marine dream,Guangdong as a grand coastal province is supposed to be a courageous pioneer,combing the development of marine-involving dance and consciously carrying forward the marine spirit to achieve the great revival of traditional Chinese culture and arts.In that case,the paper explores the way of extracting valuable materials and themes from marine culture as a representative of marine-involving dances in Guangdong province.Through the creative practice research,the creative themes of sea related dance can be divided into the following types: to symbolize the form of the ocean and express the ocean image;to show marine life and simulates and worships marine life;to express the belief in sea gods and show marine mythology stories;to reproduce human life in Lingnan coastal areas;to convey the time spirits of modern marine humanities and the changing spirit of the traditional marine humanities.In the creation of contemporary art practice,more and more dancing works fall to the category of Lingnan sea related dances,whose public attention is gradually rising.Besides,in the theoretical study,it is a place that is rarely explored,which is urgently needed collecting and combing. |
