| Plato’s cave allegory takes rise and fall as the theme, describes the survival state of prisoners in cave, and expresses the fate of human caves. In the process of the rise and fall of cave allegory,it not only touched the tension between politics and philosophy, but also gave the importance of paideia. This article, starting with the paideia, thinks about how to make a prisoner with a cave destiny surpass the cave of existence, which is divided into four chapters to discuss the philosophical thoughts contained in Plato’s cave, and to explore the inner connection between Plato’s cave allegory and his educational thought. The first chapter of the thesis from two aspects to discuss: the first part is the main content of the classic interpretation based on the original and the descendants of the cave and himself for the interpretation of Plato’s cave allegory as the basis to explain Plato’s cave allegory, this section mainly discusses some prisoners in the cave of Plato state(natural state, ascending state, descending state),The second section is mainly based on the basic content of the cave allegory, and interprets several important images in the cave allegory from the angle of paideia.(the cave, the prisoner, the man who has pulled the prisoner out of the cave)The second, third chapter of the thesis is to discuss the cave allegory from the angle of the settlement of teaching and the rising angle of paideia. The second chapter of the thesis is divided into three parts: the decline of philosophers to the polis, the decline of knowledge and the decline of philosophers. In the section of the decline of philosophers to the polis,we mainly talk about the origin of cave allegory;in the section of knowledge decline,we connect the cave allegory with solar allegory and line segment allegory, and provide theoretical basis for the realization of education from the perspective of knowledge; In the re-descent of the philosopher, this section explores why the free men outside the cave descended into the cave as the educator, and the danger that could be encountered in the fall to the cave.the third chapter of the thesis is divided into two parts:the inevitability of the prisoner out of the cave and the cave out of danger. There are two reasons for prisoners to go out of the cave, that is,the love of prisoners and the external compulsion of philosophers. These two aspects lead to the inevitability of prisoners rising. The danger of going out of the cave is mainly the prisoners’ own pain and the cruelty that may happen to the activists. The fourth chapter of the thesis is discussed in three aspects: the first is to examine the history of the development of the concept of paideia, that is,the first section of this chapter;second is the classical interpretation of Plato’s cave allegory by the posterity, that is,the two or three section of this chapter,of which Nietzsche is divided into a single section because Nietzsche reinterprets the cave allegory of Plato. The whole history of philosophy has a great influence;third,I stand on some of the thoughts of the predecessors on the society,or the information age,on the shoulders of Plato’s cave allegory. In a word, there are two main lines in this paper: one is the cave allegory, and the other is teaching. There are two main points in this paper: Rise and fall.Whether it is in the interpretation of the cave allegory and the paideia, the rise and fall are their themes, and it is a good entry point. The value of this thesis is two: one is to consider Plato’s understanding of cave allegoryand Its paideia philosophy from the academic perspective;the second is to further explore the interpretation of Plato’s cave allegory and paideia by later scholars, hoping to be valuable for contemporary education, philosophy and the contemporary era. |
