Poetic Expression In Painting As A Way To Inspire My Artistic Creation

Contemporary artists express their thoughts and emotions with the help of new media,such as printing,performance art and image.In this wave,however,many artists start to find their niche by going in exactly the opposite direction.By integrating ideas and technique of expressions of other fields into painting,they have opened up a new field for their artistic creation in a poetic way.Taking Andrew Wyeth and Rene Magritte as an example.Apart from the differences in historical cultural background,their works all show strong symbolic and mysterious meanings through the concrete painting details,breaking our initial understanding of painting.Their paintings each reflect the unique poetic nature,giving the new connotation of the Easel Painting.Through the analysis of poetic characteristics in paintings,the purpose of this thesis is to review the author's own artistic creation and his life as an artist.Taking the author's own cultural background and artistic thinking as the starting point,this thesis tries to understand the significance of poetry by analyzing and interpreting specific works of art,so as to provide good inspiration for our painting creation.
