With the development of new medias,China has entered new media era.Series of genres has developed with the prefix of ‘micro',micro movies has gained more attention along the way.Micro movies are neither traditional DV productions nor commercial advertisements and MTVs.They are dapper and created a groundbreaking way of online video storytelling,fragmentation.Which has lead an artistic narrative form of the micro era.It separated and decomposed the narrative structure of micro movies and allowed micro movies to be presented in a refreshing stance.As a result,the artistic logic of micro movies has gained constant aesthetic improvements,which in turn exploded into a highly aesthetic autonomy.This article will base its discussions on the author's graduation production ‘The Broadcast'.This article includes three segments.First,the introduction,the author fully organized the background,intent,content and methodology of related researches as well as the innovative property of such topics.After reading and sifting through related articles,the author was able to summarize related domestic and foreign researches which in turn pointed out concepts included.This segment also contains the synopsis of the micro movie produced by the author.This article will utilize author's very own work,‘The Broadcast',as an example and preface for comments and discussion that follow.The second part incorporates the author's creation and breaks down the non-linear narrative method of micro movies from the aspects of narrative structure and chronological clues.The third and final part continues to incorporate author's creation and analyzes the back-tracing narrative method of micro moviesfrom three different aspects: the parallelization of spacial narratives,the transition from different storytelling angles and the diversification of the main body.
