Research On The Enlightenment Of Lao-tzu's Ecological Ethics On Improving College Students' Ecological Moral Quality

Lao-Tzu thought about the relationship between human and nature with the unique perspective and rational attitude,and put forward the profound and enlightening significant ecological ethics thoughts,such as “Tao begets all things of the universe”,“compassion benefits the development of all things”,“less selfishness and little desire” and “Tao takes what is natural as its model”.The ecological wisdom of Lao-Tzu has provided rich ideological resources and strong theoretical support for people to reflect on and solve ecological problems.Protecting the ecological environment has become the common responsibility of all mankind,and China attaches more importance to the construction of ecological civilization.The word “beautiful” in Xi's report to the 19 th CPC national congress was written into the socialist power goals.It emphasized the importance of ecology for our country.College students are an important force to build beautiful China.The ecological moral quality of college students' is related to the construction of China's ecological civilization.Therefore,this paper tries to find the value of Lao-Tzu's ecological ethics thoughts on the ecological ethics education,so as to improve college students' ecological moral quality.This article includes the following four parts:The first part: an overview of Lao-Tzu's ecological ethics.This paper mainly expounds the background,main content and historical limitations of Lao-Tzu's ecological ethics thought.During the spring and autumn period,Lao-tzu had the view of “Tao begets all things of the universe”,“compassion benefits the development of all things”,“less selfishness and little desire” and “Tao takes what is natural as its model” due to his own erudition and social unrest and contention of a hundred schools' thought.However,Lao-Tzu ignored people's subjective initiative,the interest differences and competition,the particularity of different society due to historical limitations.The second part: problems and causes of college students' ecological moral quality.College students have problems of lack of cognition,weak emotion,weak will,and behavioral deviation in the aspect of ecological moral quality.Through research,the causes of these problems include the immaturity of undergraduates' thoughts and behaviors,lack of attention paid by colleges to ecological moral education,the negative effects of market economy,and the diversification of social ecological values.The third part: the enlightenment of Lao-Tzu ecological ethics thoughts on improving college students' ecological moral consciousness.This part includes two aspects.On the one hand,Lao-Tzu ecological ethics thought is beneficial to enrich college students' ecological moral cognition,cultivate college students' ecological moral sentiment,exercise college students' will of ecological morality and regulate college students' ecological moral behavior.On the other hand,we should pay attention to the prevention of negative generalizing thoughts,ascetic thoughts and idealist thoughts in the process of using Lao-Tzu's ecological ethics.The four part: the multi-dimensional paths of the cultivation of college students' ecological ethics.This part mainly study from three aspects of college students' ecological ethics self-education,the implementation ways of ideological and political education,the diversity support of college students' ecological ethics.The aim is to improving college students' ecological moral quality by the power of the college students themselves,the university and the society.
